How does video recording work?
The dash cam stores footage in 2 to 5 minute clips (option in the settings) in sequence in the included micro SD card. Each clip is tagged with the date and time and stored as an MP4 file with H.264 video compression codec, which is the most widely compatible video format for streaming and playback on PC, Mac, iPhone and Android devices.
